Evolution through Destruction

Recently I read a post from someone on Face Book struggling with the corruptions of politicians in her area and their unwillingness to hold up the law.  In particular, it was in reference to the Kim Davis debacle.  The person was asking for support to help push the politicians to enforce the law and follow through on the legal decisions made there by using magic and the energy of the group.  I understand her frustration; however I am of two minds on the issue she is wrestling with.

Over the past couple of years, I guess more than that, probably during this whole 2012 planetary alignment and spiritual paradigm shifts, the message of evolution through destruction has been sent to me over and over again.

On one hand, it is difficult to understand, I mean I get it, but it’s a hard pill to swallow.  In the big picture, we are talking about the Ice Age, the extinction of the dinosaurs, even the Big Bang Theory.  I don’t want to go through any of that again!  I like living my life, but I think I am in the midst of it anyhow.  There needs to be a tearing down of the old or the previous way of things in order to make way for the new.  This is the Kali energy, the Shiva, the Pele, the gods and goddesses that help us to destroy and be reborn.  They are essential parts of our evolutionary process, both physically as well as spiritually.

On the other hand, I can embrace this shift; in politics for instance, the cries of the Sanders supporters versus the Clinton and Trump supporters.  I am ready for massive change and political over haul! I feel like we desperately need it!  I am tired of the poor environmental conservation efforts, the lack of smart energy sources, the big business crap, the state of our food and water supplies, not to mention how we handle humanitarian and animal rights efforts.  We are in very poor shape currently.

When I look at the concept of evolution through destruction as a whole though, I begin to understand that just as there is no separation of mind, body, and spirit, there is also no separation in the physical and spiritual worlds.  In order to change, to evolve, and step in line with the paradigm shifts we must embrace destruction and the destructive forces at play.

There currently is a building up of violence and negativity in the world.  We see it on the internet, in television, films, radical religious groups, failing economic systems world wide, earth quakes, tsunamis, eruptions of volcanoes as well as spontaneous rioting popping up everywhere.

I am torn between stepping up and gathering forces to fight for political injustices to be corrected.  It seems that this is a must, it is how America was built after all, (well, we took it by force, another example of evolution through destruction, but that’s another story for another day.)  We should be fighting for equal rights, for justice, for jobs, for everything that is wrong.  However, what if this is not the time for all of us to jump in that ring?  What if the destruction process is not yet over?

I can see that riding the energy of change, allowing my own spiritual process to be overhauled may be the first step in this.  Perhaps the energies need to crumble the systems more before change is allowed by the masses.  I know, it’s radical to think, just let it be. Yet, it is also an option.  We are in the middle of huge changes with a new presidential election in the fall.  This will bring in a whoosh of new energy. It will either tumble things further or make things much worse only to fall later.  This destruction is inevitable.  We are tired of the old ways of the American system.  It has been a whisper on the wind for some time, slowly becoming a voice, and now a scream.  Energy has it undulations and we must ride them, picking out the opportunities to strike.

To the person who posted her frustrations, her rage and discussed her struggle to maintain the fight I say hurrah for you good woman, but perhaps what is needed is to let go, and let goddess or god for that matter, take it to the next level.  Let the bricks fall, let Kim Davis do what she will do.  Let the masses take on the task.  She will rear her head again; she will again receive the onslaught and negative attention with new fervor.  For you my dear, I say, heal, watch, and wait.  Let Kali do her job, then like a phoenix from the ash, you and the rest of us can rise up, with a new paradigm and make the changes necessary.
